How it Works

Cultivating Morels in Your Greenhouse

Transform your greenhouse into a thriving morel farm with our ready-to-use spawn bags. Our method simplifies the complex process of morel cultivation, making it accessible and profitable for greenhouse farmers across Europe.

01

Prepare Your Greenhouse

Optimal Conditions:
  • Temperature: Maintain between 10°C to 20°C (50°F to 68°F).
  • Humidity: Keep relative humidity around 80%.
  • Ventilation: Ensure good air circulation to prevent CO₂ buildup.
  • Shading: Use shading nets to diffuse sunlight, mimicking forest conditions.
Tip: Morels thrive in environments that replicate their natural forest habitat.
02

Layout and Placement

Calculate Your Needs:
  • Area Measurement: Determine the total square meters of your cultivation area.
  • Bag Requirement: Use 4 spawn bags per square meter.
  • Placement: Lay the bags evenly across the prepared area, ensuring direct contact with the soil.
Each bag is designed to produce approximately 300g of fresh morels.
03

Initiate Growth

Moisture Management:
  • Watering: Gently water the area to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.
  • Consistency: Maintain consistent moisture levels throughout the growth cycle.
Environmental Control:
  • Temperature Fluctuation: Introduce slight temperature variations to stimulate mycelium activity.
  • Humidity Monitoring: Use hygrometers to monitor and adjust humidity levels as needed.
Proper environmental control is crucial for successful fruiting.
04

Monitor and Maintain

Regular Checks:
  • Inspect Bags: Look for signs of contamination or dryness.
  • Adjust Conditions: Modify temperature and humidity settings based on observations.

Support:
  • Guidance: Access our cultivation guides and customer support for assistance.
  • Community: Join our network of growers to share experiences and tips.
Our team is here to support you every step of the way.
05

Harvest Your Morels

Harvesting Tips:
  • Timing: Morels are ready to harvest when they reach full size and have a firm texture.
  • Method: Gently twist or cut the mushrooms at the base to avoid disturbing the mycelium.
  • Post-Harvest: Store in a cool, dry place and consume or sell promptly for best quality.
Enjoy the fruits of your labor with fresh, gourmet morels.

Morels thrive in environments that mimic their natural habitat. Key conditions include:
•Temperature: Maintain between 10°C to 20°C (50°F to 68°F).
•Humidity: Keep relative humidity around 80%.
•Ventilation: Ensure good air circulation to prevent CO₂ buildup.
•Shading: Use shading nets to diffuse sunlight, replicating forest conditions.

Tip: Consistency in these conditions is crucial for successful cultivation.
We recommend using 4 spawn bags per square meter of greenhouse space. For example:
•50 m² greenhouse: 200 bags
•100 m² greenhouse: 400 bags

Note: Orders under 200 bags are priced at $4 per bag; orders of 200 bags or more are priced at $2 per bag.

Each spawn bag is designed to produce approximately 300 grams of fresh morel mushrooms under optimal conditions. Therefore, with 200 bags, you can anticipate a yield of around 60 kilograms of morels.

The cultivation cycle typically spans 12 to 16 weeks from setup to harvest. This duration may vary based on environmental factors and adherence to recommended conditions.

No specialized equipment is required. However, maintaining consistent temperature, humidity, and ventilation is essential. Basic greenhouse tools and monitoring devices are sufficient to create the ideal environment.

Our spawn bags are designed for single-use to ensure optimal yield and minimize contamination risks. Reusing them is not recommended.
